what to expect

Before

Once I have answered any question you may have, we agree on a date. I love to shoot during the evening Golden Hour, which is the hour before sun down. Since that is close to most kids’ bedtime, I am happy to work around your family’s schedule.

I will contact you the day before your photo shoot to make sure that weather is looking good and any last minute details you may want to cover. Please look at my page on “what to wear” and do let me know if you have any further questions about that.

During

I like to give each family the time they need to get their photos taken, so I will not be rushing you. My experience tells me that there is only so much time that little ones can take of photo taking, so while I try to make it fun, calculating about an hour, is a good estimate. I want them to walk away having had fun, and wanting more, so that next time you schedule a photo shoot, no one has a meltdown. I like candid, natural shots…no “cheese” shots.  Try to be punctual, and text me if you are running late.

After

Within a week you will receive a link to an online password protected gallery. This is when you get to choose which photos you like and what sizes you would like them made in, according to which package you want to go with. You can buy a package or a la carte. Your online gallery will be available for one month, all orders should be placed within that time frame. Once you select the package, I will send you an invoice, which you can pay through paypal or with a check.

When you log onto your online gallery, select up to 40 of your favorite photos, and I will create an app for your phone. It can be downloaded to as many phones as you wish, and your photos will remain there for you to enjoy at anytime.

If you are happy, you will then tell your friends about me. That will make me happy too!

If you are wanting to schedule a BABY photo shoot, please read my page on babies.

A few week after your photo-shoot, a package will arrive in the mail with a proof book and your edited files.  Click here to see what it will look like!
